on Bartlett Park was a project Simon Honey facilitated which engaged and trained
young people aged 11 to 17. The team identified and documented problems
with their local park using digital cameras and consulted other young people their
age for their opinions of what was needed. Inspiration
came from visits to Mile End Park and other places and the Internet. They created
an exhibition using digital software and technology that showed Elders in the
community that young people were not all 'thoughtless yobs' and evidenced the
need to funders.
